Professional artist,Mehdi( Michael) Tayeri, produces art which covers a wide variety of styles and subjects. His early masterworks as a Persian miniaturist come alive with exquisite and colorful renderings, resulting in striking, complex paintings which must be thoughtfully viewed and appreciated. Their size ranges from very large to small, and each is done with precise detail and care. His other repertoire includes commissioned portraits and landscapes, while his current work contains a’la prima expressionism and abstracts. He works in all the mediums and includes florals, still life studies, and figures as well. Some of his limited edition prints are also available. He has exhibited in various venues and received awards, taught in art privately and in schools, and has an impressive education in art. He makes his home in San Jose, California
